Email Account Security Update
Several of our customers have reported experiencing issues with one of our Webmail platforms – more specifically Horde – over the last few days.
These issues have ranged from not being able to log in at all, not being able to access your address book, and/or not being able to delete items from your inbox.
The issues were caused by a major security update. We performed this update last week to enhance the security measures protecting your account. One element of this update was to alter the way one of our databases was formatted. Many custom Horde settings and address books were impacted by this, as the data was stored in that database. The update was designed to automatically reformat the database. However, during the update there was an issue with the database restructuring.
We worked long and hard with the software developers to resolve the issue and there should no longer be any issue. All access to Horde has been restored, along with all your account customization, and we do not anticipate any further outages. All address books have been restored.
