Welcome to the Host and Store blog! This is a brief introduction into the Horde Webmail Client Functionality. Click the title to learn more about how to use Horde!

1.Logging in to Horde Webmail.

When logging in, you will be presented with the login form shown below:

From here, just enter your username and password and click the “Log in” button.

Alternatively, you can click the “Log in via cPanelD” button and use the relevant login credentials.

Once logged in, you will be presented with your inbox:

From here you can use a range of its built in functions.

 

2.Read Email

First of all, you can read your emails by choosing one from the list.

Anything which has not been read previously, will have a lilac background color and bold text.

To read, simply click on the message and it will be displayed in the panel beneath.

If you wish to open in a new window (to see the message a bit clearer), you can double click on the relevant message in the inbox list and this will open it in a new window:

*Note: You will need to make sure that you have popups enabled in order for the new window to open.

 

3.Send Email

To send an email, click on the “New Message” button which is visible in the top left of the main window:

This will open a new window, which will allow you to compose your email.

In order to send your email, you will need to complete the “To” text field,  which is the recipient (i.e., joe@bloggs.com).

Next is the “Subject” field (what your email is about).

Finally, you can then type your email in the main text area:

Once you have completed writing the email, you can click the send button to send your email:

4.Forward an Email

In order to forward an email, simply select the email your inbox that you would like to send. If you would like to send more than one, just check the boxes of the ones you wish to send:

Once you have done this, click the forward button:

This will open up a new window (as long as you do not have a popup blocker enabled), which will allow you to compose a new email with the forwarded emails included as attachments to this email.

Once you’ve done that, click the “Send” button to send your email:

5.Delete an Email

To delete an email, select the email you wish to delete from your inbox and click the “Delete” button:

This will then move the message to your Trash folder. Should you wish to recover it, you can do so by clicking on the trash folder in the left hand navigation :

6.Search Your Inbox

Sometimes you may wish to search through your inbox in order to find old emails. To do this, simply type your search term into the search box on the top right of the page and hit return:

This will then display a list of emails (similar to your inbox display) that match your search term in some way. You can then follow the same process as reading emails to view them.

 

7.Printing Emails

Finally, in order to print an email, you’ll need to read / view the email (as stated above), click the printer icon and follow the on screen instructions :
